Announcement of transaction in ordinary shares by a Director/PDMR

The Company was informed today that on 24 October 2014 Paul Hine, a PDMR of JD Wetherspoon plc, sold 4,469 of the company's ordinary shares at a price of 821.5 pence per share.

Mr Hine now holds 2238 shares in the Company.
