Board appointment

The Board of Leeds Group is pleased to announce the appointment of David Cooper as an independent non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr Cooper is a qualified Chartered Accountant and between January 2002 and September 2012 he was the Group Finance director of Dawson International PLC an AIM quoted company.

In July 2012 the board of Dawson International PLC ("DI") announced that following conversations between the directors and the trustees of the defined benefit pension plans relating to obligations due to the defined benefit pension schemes, the actuary of the plans had served notices of determination of contribution jointly on the DI and its UK trading subsidiary Dawson International Trading Limited ("DIT"). Subsequently the boards of DI, DIT and an intermediate holding company Dawson International Holdings UK Limited, appointed administrators.
