Acquisition of Builders Merchanting Business in Brussels

Grafton Group plc, the builders merchanting and DIY Group with operations in the UK, Ireland and Belgium, announces that it has completed the acquisition of Gedimat-Ginion S.A., a single branch general merchanting business located in Brussels.  The business, which had revenue of £3.2 million (€4.1 million) in the year to June 2014, expands and complements coverage of the Brussels market following the acquisition earlier this year of Mpro which trades from a significant branch in the centre of the city.
