Changes to membership of Board Committees

Direct Line Insurance Group plc (the "Company") announces the changes detailed below to the membership of its Board Committees, following the appointment of Sebastian James as an additional Non-Executive Director of the Company:

Sebastian James has been appointed as a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.

Jane Hanson has retired as Chair of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee but will continue as a member of the Committee.

Clare Thompson has been appointed as Chair of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and has retired as a member of the Remuneration Committee.

All of the changes are effective immediately.
