Hays plc - Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a), Hays plc (the "Company") hereby notifies the market of the following. 

The Company was notified on 17 September 2014 that, on 15 September 2014, 98,039 shares in the Company awarded to Mr John Faraguna, a person discharging managerial responsibility, on 14 September 2011 under the Company's Performance Share Plan (the "Plan") vested and were released at nil cost to Mr Faraguna, along with 11,485 Dividend Equivalent Shares in accordance with the Rules of the Plan. On 16 September 2014, 43,898 shares were sold on the London market at a price of 124.4424 pence per share to settle taxation and dealing costs.  The balance of 65,626 shares has been retained in his own name.
