CANCELLATION OF LISTING OF £125M 4.625% CONVERTIBLE BONDS DUE 2014

Pennon Group Plc (the "Company") announces that, further to the receipt by the Company of bondholder conversion notices in respect of all its previously outstanding £125,000,000 4.625 per cent convertible bonds due 2014 (ISIN:  XS0443571517) (the "Bonds"), the listing of the Bonds on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and the admission of the Bonds to trading on the London Stock Exchange is hereby cancelled with effect from the date and time of this notice.
