Transfer of Senior Independent Director

Serco Group plc (Serco), the international service company, announces that with effect from 1 September 2014 the role of Senior Independent Director will be transferred from Malcolm Wyman, Chairman of the Audit Committee, to Mike Clasper.

Commenting on this change, Alastair Lyons, non-executive Chairman of Serco, said: "Having doubled the number of non-executives on our Board earlier this year, and their having had some time to get into the business, we are now able to achieve a more balanced spread of roles across our non-executives.  I would like to thank Malcolm Wyman for having also, since May 2013, carried the responsibilities of Senior Independent Director in addition to his role as Audit Committee Chair."

In accordance with the Listing Rules, there are no additional matters that would require disclosure under LR 9.6.13 R (1) to (6) in relation to this appointment.
