Grant of new Share Options

On 5 August 2014 the Company received notification from the Yorkshire Building Society that the Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMRs") listed below had been granted share options over a total of 35,600 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") on 4 August 2014 pursuant to the Company's Sharesave Plan.

The new options granted under the Company's Sharesave Plan will become exercisable in the period from 1 October 2017 to 31 March 2018 at an exercise price of 151.67p per Ordinary Share.

Today the Directors/PDMRs listed below were granted share options over a total of 541,432 Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP") at nil cost.

The new options granted pursuant to the Company's LTIP will become exercisable in the period from 1 June 2017 to 6 August 2018. The exercise price is £1.00 on each occasion of exercise.
