Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of 140,000 ordinary shares of 25p each (the 'Shares') to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.  These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.

The Shares will be issued to satisfy future exercise of options granted to employees under the Close Brothers Group  Sharesave Scheme 2002 and the Close Brothers Group Sharesave Scheme 2011.
