Notification made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the

Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.

On 16 July 2014, Severn Trent Plc ("the Company") granted 147,496 Ordinary Shares under the terms of the Severn Trent Plc Long Term Incentive Plan 2014 (the "Plan") following approval of the Plan by shareholders at the Company's 2014 Annual General Meeting and adoption by the board of directors, including 100,206 Ordinary Shares to the Directors and PDMRs of the Company as set out below.  These Ordinary Shares will vest at the end of a three year performance period, depending on the achievement of performance targets and service with the Company.
