Issue of Equity and Total Voting Rights
Liontrust Asset Management Plc ("Liontrust" or the "Company") announces that it has issued 3,000,000 new ordinary Liontrust shares of 1p each (the "New Ordinary Shares") to Adrian Collins (1,000,000 New Ordinary Shares), John Ions (1,800,000 New Ordinary Shares) and Vinay Abrol (200,000 New Ordinary Shares) pursuant to the exercise of share options issued under the Liontrust Senior Incentive Plan ("LSIP").
Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange, both of which are expected to become effective on 7 July 2014.
Following the admission to trading of the New Ordinary Shares, the Company's capital consists of 45,471,555 ordinary shares of 1p each with voting rights. No ordinary shares are held in Treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 45,471,555.
The above figure of 45,471,555 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
