Severn Trent Annual Bonus Scheme - 2014 Deferred Share Awards

On 30 June 2014 Severn Trent Plc (the "Company") granted deferred share awards totalling 33,039 Ordinary Shares of 97 17/19 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company, as procured by the Remuneration Committee on 23 May 2014 under the terms of the Severn Trent Annual Bonus Scheme, in respect of the year ended 31 March 2014, including 24,339 Ordinary Shares to the Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR") of the Company as set out below.  The Ordinary Shares will vest on the third anniversary of grant subject to continued employment.

Severn Trent Annual Bonus Scheme - 2011 Deferred Share Release

The independent Trustee of the Severn Trent Plc Employee Share Ownership Trust (the "Trust") notified the Company on 30 June 2014 that it had on 30 June 2014 transferred the beneficial interest in a total of 29,937 Ordinary Shares of 9717/19p each in the Company (the "Shares") for nil consideration to participants in the Annual Bonus Scheme (the "ABS"), including 24,246 Shares to Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMRs) of the Company as indicated below, pursuant to awards made under the ABS in 2011.

PDMRs are potential beneficiaries under the Trust and, therefore, (except as disclosed below) their interests in shares held by the Trust ceased on such transfer.
