Completion of the acquisition of Scandinavian AirAmbulance Holding AB (publ) ('SAA')

Babcock confirms that Avincis has today completed the acquisition of 84.6% of SAA for a cash consideration of SEK206 million (£18 million) and acquired net debt of SEK484 million (£42.5 million).

SAA provides emergency medical services in Sweden and Finland from 12 permanent bases.  For the financial year ended 30 April 2014 the business expects to report revenue of SEK482 million (£42 million).
