Mr. Kevin Melia

It is with great sadness that DCC plc announces the death, after a short illness, of Mr. Kevin Melia, a non-executive Director of the Group.  Mr. Melia joined the Board of Directors in December 2008.

Michael Buckley, Chairman commented:

"The Group benefited hugely from Kevin's considerable corporate and entrepreneurial expertise, gained during a distinguished career in industry.  He brought outstanding insight, enthusiasm, warmth and generosity to his Board role at DCC.  He will be sadly missed by his colleagues."
