Directorate Change

Telecom Plus PLC (trading as the Utility Warehouse), which supplies a wide range of utility services to both residential and business customers, today announces that Chris Houghton (Finance Director) will be leaving the company on 3 October 2014 to pursue new challenges. He will continue in his executive board role until his departure to assist with an orderly handover of responsibilities.

Chris joined the Company in September 2008 and was appointed Finance Director in February 2009. He has played an important role as a member of our senior management team during a period of significant growth - revenues, profit before tax, earnings per share and dividends per share have all more than doubled since he joined - and in completing the fund raising last year associated with our acquisition from npower. During this time the Company also entered the FTSE250.

A search for a new Chief Financial Officer is underway and an appointment will be made in due course.
