Tullow Oil appoints Mike Daly as a non-executive Director

2 June 2014 - Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Michael Daly as a non-executive Director with effect from 1 June 2014.

Mike Daly joins Tullow with extensive oil & gas experience following a successful 28 year career at BP. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President Exploration, and a member of BP's Group Executive team until January 2014. During his time at BP he held a variety of senior business management and exploration positions including Group Vice President, Exploration & New Ventures, and Regional President Middle East & South Asia. Mike Daly is a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on the Arctic, an Advisory Board Member of the British Geological Survey and a visiting professor at the University of Oxford.

There are no matters requiring disclosure in respect of Mike Daly's appointment under Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UKLA or 6.6.7 of the Listing Rules of the Irish Stock Exchange.
