On 18 October 2013, Barratt Developments PLC (the "Company") announced that its Group Chief Executive, Mark Clare was to be appointed as a non-executive director of United Utilities Group PLC on 1 November 2013. Further to this appointment, the Company announces that Mark Clare is due to be appointed as the Senior Independent Director of United Utilities Group PLC with effect from 25 July 2014.
