TClarke plc appoint a new Independent Non-Executive Director, Tony Giddings

TClarke plc, ("TClarke" or the "Group") the Building Services Group, is pleased to announce that Tony Giddings will join the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. Tony will join the Board with effect from 1st October 2014 and will also join the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Tony joined property developer Argent LLP in 1988 and became a director in 1997. Since then, he has delivered over £900 million of construction projects - over 4 million sq. ft. of accommodation.

Tony spent 13 years of his career overseas working for contractors in Africa and the Middle East. Before joining Argent, he was Project Manager at Minster Court, London for Bovis (now Lend Lease) and the Prudential.

He has served as a Board Member of the British Council for Offices, was Chairman of the Design and Build Foundation from 2001 to 2003 and is a founding member of the new 'Be' organisation.

Tony has a BSc Degree with Distinction in Building Administration at the Brixton School of Building (now the London South Bank University) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building.
