Publication of Circular

Further to the announcement made by the Company earlier today, the Board of Chemring is pleased to announce that, in relation to the disposal of the European Munitions Business, a circular relating to the Disposal (the "Circular") has been approved by the UK Listing Authority. The Circular, which contains further details on the Disposal and a notice convening a general meeting of the Company to be held at the offices of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, 65 Fleet Street, London, EC4Y 1HS at 9.00 a.m. on 12 May 2014, has today been published and is being posted to Shareholders today.

A copy of the Circular and the accompanying form of proxy has also been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.Morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM. In addition, the Circular will be available to view on the Company's website (www.chemring.co.uk) and available for inspection during normal business hours on any weekday at the offices of the Company at 1500 Parkway, Whiteley, Fareham, Hampshire PO15 7AF and at the offices of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP at 65 Fleet Street, London EC4Y1HS.
