Notification of Transactions of Directors

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.2. (R), the Company was notified on 8 April 2014 that Richard Hope, Group Finance Director, had acquired 487 Ordinary shares of the Company at a price of 715p per share, pursuant to a dividend reinvestment plan.  The transaction took place on 8 April.  The shares are registered in the name of Alliance Trust Savings Nominees Limited.

Following the transaction the total beneficial holding of Richard Hope is 28,756 shares being 0.27% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The Company was notified on 9 April 2014 that Daemmon Reeve, Group CEO, had acquired 298 Ordinary shares of the Company at a price of 685p per share, pursuant to a dividend reinvestment plan.  The transaction took place on 9 April.

Following the transaction the total beneficial holding of Daemmon Reeve is 16,242 shares being 0.15% of the issued share capital of the Company.

In accordance with paragraph 2(b) of the Model Code, these transactions are not subject to the close period.
