Ricardo PLC (the "Company") announces that it received notification on 17 March 2014 of the following transactions by Dave Shemmans, Chief Executive of the Company, and his wife, Maria Shemmans.  On 17 March 2014::

·      Dave Shemmans sold 1,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") at a price of 710p per Share; and

·      Maria Shemmans, Dave Shemmans's spouse, sold 2,000 Shares at a price of 710p per Share.

Following these transactions, the total beneficial holding of Shares of Dave Shemmans and his connected persons is 182,170 Shares, representing approximately 0.35% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

The above notifications are intended to satisfy the Company's obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R.
