Fairport Engineering Awarded Design Contract for Barruecopardo

The Board of Ormonde is pleased to advise that it has awarded the Engineering Design Contract for its Barruecopardo Tungsten Project in western Spain to UK-based Fairport Engineering Limited ("Fairport").  Fairport will carry out the design work required to enable the placement of the key equipment orders before the finalisation of the detailed engineering required for Project construction. 

Kerr Anderson, Ormonde's Managing Director, commented:

"We have selected Fairport to provide the Engineering Design for our Barruecopardo Tungsten Project following agreement of commercial terms and based upon their considerable relevant experience, and look forward to their involvement as we take another key step in advancing the Project.  As we progress with permitting and funding, the time is right for key technical works to be moved forward so as to facilitate development."

Fairport Engineering Limited

Fairport, founded in 1982, is an experienced UK-based engineering firm involved in the aggregates, cement, industrial minerals, biomass, metals and minerals processing industries from engineering design to turnkey project delivery.  Fairport has extensive design and development experience involving the comminution and classification of granular materials and the gravity separation and concentration of minerals.  Fairport has wide ranging experience within the UK and continental Europe including participation in the design, installation and commissioning of a minerals processing facility in Spain using local, experienced construction companies.
