2013 FINAL AND SECOND SPECIAL INTERIM DIVIDEND DATES

The relevant dates in respect of the Direct Line Insurance Group plc 2013 final and second special interim dividends are set out below:

12 March 2014 - "Ex-dividend" date

14 March 2014 - Record date

28 April 2014 - Plan notice date for election under the Dividend Reinvestment Plan

20 May 2014 - Payment date*

The final dividend is subject to shareholder approval at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 15 May 2014.

*Notwithstanding any reference to 30 May 2014 in the Preliminary announcement.
