Directorate Change

H&T Group plc ("H&T" or "the Group") announces that, following five years with H&T, Alex Maby, Group Finance Director of H&T, is leaving the Group in order to seek a new challenge. Alex will step down from the Board in late November 2013 and leave H&T at the beginning of December 2013. Steve Fenerty, currently Commercial Director of the Group, will succeed Alex as Finance Director.   

The Board is delighted that Steve Fenerty will step into the role of Finance Director. Trained as a Chartered Accountant and with over 20 years experience in the consumer credit business, including eight within H&T Group, Steve is an ideal candidate for the role.

Peter McNamara, Chairman of H&T, commented: "Whilst we are sad to see Alex leaving H&T we are pleased to have an internal successor in Steve Fenerty.  A Chartered Accountant with a strong track record, both within Money Shop previously and now at H&T, Steve has the experience and capabilities to lead the Group through these exciting times and the opportunities that will arise from the development of plans for H&T; the changes in consumer behaviours and the consequent developments within our sector."
