NOVATEK’S SHAREHOLDERS APPROVE INTERIM DIVIDENDS

Moscow, 23 October 2013 . The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (“EGM”) of OAO NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” or the “Company”) held on 22 October 2013 resolved to pay dividends for the first half 2013.

The EGM approved the interim dividends in the amount of RR 3.4 per one ordinary share or RR 34.0 per one Global Depositary Receipt with the total dividend distribution amounting to RR 10.3 billion. The dividends will be paid in cash by 21 December 2013. The list of persons entitled to receive dividends was compiled as at 16 September 2013.
