Directorate Change

Hargreaves Services plc (AIM: HSP), the UK's leading supplier of solid fuels and bulk material logistics, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Gillatt as Managing Director of the Production Division with effect from 16 September 2013. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Company and will, as a result of this new appointment, be stepping down from the Board with effect from today, 9 September 2013.

Peter is a Chartered Mining Engineer and has over 35 years of experience in the minerals sector in senior roles at Lafarge UK, Tarmac (Scotland) and British Coal. He also spent a period of time in the waste and recycling sector mainly as Chief Operating Officer of SITA UK.

A process to recruit a new Non-Executive Director to the Board is underway.
