SHARE PURCHASES

Inchcape plc (the "Company") announces today that, further to its announcement on 2 August 2013 of a share buyback of up to £100 million over the following 12 months, it has today commenced this programme.  On 29 August 2013 the Company gave irrevocable instructions to J.P. Morgan Cazenove to purchase shares with a value of up to £50m on the Company's behalf during the period from 29 August 2013 until 31 December 2013 (the "Period"). The purchase of shares in the Period pursuant to the irrevocable instructions will be executed at all times only in accordance with the Company's authority to make market purchases of its shares.
