Persimmon Plc ("the Company") - Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, we announce that the Company's share capital at 31 July 2013 consisted of 303,858,083 ordinary shares of 10p each. The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is currently 303,858,083.

As previously announced, the Company purchased the 201,590,249 Deferred Shares of 0.0001p each (formerly C shares under the Company's B/C Share scheme) for an aggregate consideration of one penny and then cancelled those shares on 18 July 2013.

The above figure of 303,858,083 shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in the Company.
