New Product Announcement

Concurrent Technologies Launches Ruggedised Plug-In-Card

Concurrent Technologies (AIM: CNC), the market leading specialists in the design, development, and manufacture of deployable embedded computer solutions for critical applications, announces the launch of a new product, the ruggedised plug-in-card, Buddon.

This postcard sized rugged board provides a technology upgrade for those customers who have deployed systems based on 3U CompactPCI.  In particular, Buddon incorporates the latest technology to enable customers to meet more stringent security and processing needs.

Buddon has been designed to be backwards compatible with previous generations of CompactPCI cards, making it easier for system integrators to extend the life of their equipment with minimal risk and disruption.  Based on a recent 11th Generation Intel® Core™ Processor, Buddon provides equivalent performance at a lower power consumption compared to previous products making it the ideal choice to ensure reliable field operation in a wide variety of system configurations.

Nigel Jowitt, Engineering Director at Concurrent Technologies, commented: "Concurrent Technologies has built up an excellent reputation for supporting legacy hardware.  Buddon is another proof point of the Company providing solid and dependable options to our traditional customer base and that we can additionally use as the basis of our own rugged systems."
