Appointment of New Auditors

Ashington Innovation plc (LSE: ASHI; FSE: 6FW), a special purpose acquisition company, announces that the Company has appointed MHA as auditor with immediate effect for the financial year ended 31 December 2023. Shareholder approval to confirm MHA's appointment will be sought at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held in 2024.

The Company undertook a competitive tender process following the resignation of Venthams Limited. The process to manage the transition from Venthams Limited has been completed and Venthams Limited has deposited with the Company a statement confirming that there are no matters to be brought to the attention of the Company's members or creditors for the purposes of Section 519 of the Companies Act 2006.
