Senior Judge Appointed to mediate Slovenian Partner Dispute

Ascent Resources Plc (LON: AST), the onshore Caribbean, Hispanic American and European focussed energy and natural resources company, announces that the Company and its Slovenian Joint Venture ("JV") partner, Geoenergo, have  agreed to initiate the dispute resolution mechanism in the JV contract and accordingly have initiated the mediation process. A Court of Appeal, High Court Ljubljana Judge has now been appointed as the mediator between the joint venture partners.  Mediation is expected to be initiated shortly.
