Statement regarding situation in Kazakhstan

AltynGold plc (“Altyn” or the “Company”) expresses its condolences as part of nationwide day of mourning and announces precautionary measures following the declaration of the state of emergency in Kazakhstan.

Today is a nationwide day of mourning for those who lost their lives during the unrest. The AltynGold team mourns together with the families who lost their loved ones.

The Altyn management team plans to continue day to day activities keeping its mines fully operational but has, in light of the state of emergency, implemented a number of precautionary measures as contemplated by its business continuity plans.
