AFC Energy (AIM:AFC), the industrial fuel cell power company, has received notice that Gary Bullard, Chairman, purchased 65,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"), 25,000 in his own name and 40,000 in his wife's name, today at an average price of 29.8 pence per share.

Following this transaction Mr. Bullard has interests in 225,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.03% of the Company's issued share capital.
