Update on General Meeting

Active Energy, the London AIM-quoted renewable energy business focused on the production of next generation energy pellets, announced on 9 December 2021 a fundraising to raise £3.0 million.  Subsequently the Company posted a circular to shareholders convening the General Meeting, for 10.00 am on 29 December 2021 at the Eccleston Square Hotel, 37 Ecclestone Square, London, SW1V, to approve the Conditional Fundraising and Subscription.

As set out in the circular, and in light of the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, shareholders are asked not to attend the meeting and to appoint the Chairman of the meeting as their proxy to attend and vote at the meeting.

Should the UK Government's COVID-19 guidance change before the General Meeting the Company will make an announcement as soon practicable.

Defined terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as in the announcement of 9 December 2021 unless otherwise defined herein.
