Change of Director's Interest

Prospex Energy PLC, the AIM-quoted investment company focused on European gas and power projects, announces that it has been advised that connected parties of non-executive director, Richard Mays, (Richard May's SIPP and a family-owned business, of which he is a director) have sold an aggregate total of 1,344,135 ordinary shares at a price of 14.359p per ordinary share to address, inter alia, taxation requirements.  

Mr Mays remains interested in 1,400,000 ordinary shares and has interests in convertible loan notes issued by the Company to the value of £86,000 plus accrued interest (convertible at £0.0425 into ordinary shares).  Additionally he has, as yet unexercised, long term incentive stock options to buy 1,821,669 ordinary shares.  

As a founder of the company, he remains committed to the long-term growth of the company.
