Completion of Placing

EQTEC plc (AIM: EQT) is pleased to announce that, further to the announcement made on 9 July 2020, Admission to AIM of the 2,608,936,059 new Ordinary Shares ("Admission") became effective at 8.00am today thereby satisfying all the conditions relating to the Placing and the PrimaryBid Offer.

Further details regarding the Placing and PrimaryBid Offer can be found in the three announcements issued by the Company on 9 July 2020 (the "Fundraise Announcements").

Following Admission, the Company's issued ordinary share capital consists of 6,868,712,306 Ordinary Shares; no shares are held in treasury. The above figure of 6,868,712,306 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the voting rights of the Company's issued share capital.
