PDMR Dealing

Checkit plc (AIM:CKT) announces that Keith Daley, Executive Chairman, has today purchased 1,296,296 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 39.00 pence per Ordinary Share (the "Purchase").

Following the Purchase, Mr Daley's total beneficial interest in the Company is 14,424,635 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 23.25% of the Company's total issued share capital as at today's date.

Sale of Elektron Technology Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT") shares

The shares were purchased through the market from the Elektron Technology Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT"), which is currently in the process of being wound up. The proceeds received by the EBT,  which amount to approximately £506k (before expenses), will be used to repay amounts it owes to the Company (which currently stands at approximately £620k).

Following the repayment, the residual amounts owed to the Company will be written off. As the loan to the EBT is eliminated on consolidation, this will have no impact on the group's financial results.

Concert party holdings

Following the Purchase, the Concert Party (which is comprised of Keith Daley and John Wilson) will have control of voting rights over 15,213,894 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 24.53% of the Company's issued share capital.
