Transaction in own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 18 May 2020 it purchased 726,853 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 137.3289 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its US$100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 14 October 2019.  The highest price paid per share was 138.00 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 134.00 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 59,853,446 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 130.76195 pence per share.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 62,040,129 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,479,754,641 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
