Construction and Air Permit Public Comment Period Extended

Active Energy, the international biomass based renewable energy business, announces that the public comment period for its construction and air permit (the "Permit") for the Company's CoalSwitch™ plant at the Lumberton site has been extended to 27th March 2020. The Division of Air Quality will then take final action in relation to issuance of the Permit.

This extension is in response to the cancellation of the public meeting, which was originally scheduled for the 16th March 2020, to avoid a public gathering based on guidance to the current situation regarding COVID-19.
