Transaction in own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 13 March 2020 it purchased 1,450,000 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 104.1903 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its US$100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 14 October 2019.  The highest price paid per share was 108.45 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 99.88 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 26,870,097 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 141.69381 pence per share.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 29,156,780 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,512,637,990 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). (Note: This figure takes into account the transfer from treasury of 8,468,026 ordinary shares on 13 March 2020 pursuant to the vesting of awards under various partner share plans).

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
