Lumberton Public Information Meeting Date Confirmed

Active Energy, the London quoted international biomass based renewable energy business, is pleased to announce that further to the Company's announcement of 7 February 2020, a public information meeting in relation to the construction and air permit (the "Permit") for the 5 tonne per hour CoalSwitch™ plant (the "Plant") at Company's Lumberton site ("Lumberton") will be held on the 16 March 2020.

The public information meeting is the final stage in the permitting process and subject to any conditions within the Permit, AEG expects construction of the Plant to commence once the Permit has been granted.

AEG, CEO, Michael Rowan said, "We are pleased that a date for the public information meeting has been set and look forward to commencing construction of the Plant at Lumberton once the Permit has been granted."
