OEM order

Windar Photonics plc (AIM:WPHO), the technology group that has developed a cost efficient and innovative LiDAR wind sensor for use on electricity generating wind turbines, is pleased to announce that the Company has received an order for 100 WindVision™ systems to be delivered in 2020.

In 2019, Windar's distributor in China delivered 33 WindEye systems on 33 new CNR 2 MW wind turbines in China. Following this project, Windar has received a new order for 100 WindVision™ systems to be installed on CNR wind turbines, also in China. The installation and integration are planned to be completed within 2020.  This OEM order is in line with management expectations.

Martin Rambusch, General Manager, commented: "I am very pleased to have secured this first larger OEM order for our WindVision™ systems. Of equal importance, every CNR turbine will be deployed with our systems and integrated in the wind turbines to enhance their performance."
