Tracsis plc, the leading provider of software and technology led products and services within the transportation industry today announces that Rod Jones, Non-Executive Chairman, has given notice that he is stepping down from the Board as of 30 June 2013.

Rod Jones, commented

"After six enjoyable and successful years at Tracsis, the time is right to step down, both for me personally, and also for the Group. Tracsis will bring in a Chairman to provide leadership for the next phase of its growth and I wish John, the Board and wider Group continued success."

John McArthur, Chief Executive Officer commented 

"Rod has been an outstanding Chairman over a period in which the Company has grown significantly from its origins as a spin-out from the University of Leeds. We have benefitted hugely from Rod's experience and support in managing this growth. On behalf of the Board and staff, I thank Rod for the significant contribution he has made to our success and we wish him well for the future."

The Company has commenced a search for a new Non-Executive Chairman, and the market will be updated in due course.
