APPLICATION FOR BLOCKLISTING

Land Securities Group PLC confirms that an application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and London Stock Exchange for a blocklisting of 76,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each, to trade on the London Stock Exchange main market for listed securities, pursuant to the Land Securities 2012 Sharesave Plan.  When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares.
