The British Land Company PLC ("the Company")

Application has been made to the Financial Conduct Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a total of 3,100,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each ("shares") to be admitted to the Official List.

It is expected that admission will be granted on 11 June 2013 with dealings commencing on 12 June 2013.

These shares will be issued in connection with the Company's Matching Share Plans (1,100,000 shares) and Fund Managers Performance Plans (2,000,000 shares).

When issued these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares.
