Associated British Foods plc makes the following statement on behalf of its wholly-owned subsidiary British Sugar plc

British Sugar plc

Notice of repayment of £150m 10 ¾ per cent. Redeemable Debenture Stock 2013

On 2 July 2013, British Sugar plc will repay at par and in full the principal amount of £150m of the 10 ¾ per cent. Redeemable Debenture Stock 2013 (the "Stock"), together with all interest accrued up to and including that date.

Application has been made under Listing Rule 5.2.8R to cancel the listing of the Stock with effect from 2 July 2013.
