Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Company announces that its 2013 Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2013, together with a Notice of the Annual General Meeting have been posted to shareholders and are now available to download from the Company's website at www.empyreanenergy.com.

The Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting will be held at 10.00 a.m. on 2 July 2013 at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, 21 Albemarle Street, London W1S 4BS.

The Company advises that following completion of the audit process changes were made to Notes 2 & 5 of the Notes to the Financial Statements within the Annual Report. There were no other changes to the Financial Statements.

The Company also wishes to invite all shareholders to an informal briefing on the Notice of the Annual General Meeting ("NOM"), which will give shareholders the opportunity to meet with Empyrean's CEO, Tom Kelly and ask questions relating to the NOM in advance of the Annual General Meeting. This informal briefing is anticipated to take place on Monday 10 June 2013. All shareholders wishing to attend are requested to register their interest by Wednesday 5 June 2013 with Jonathan Charles of Lionsgate Communications by email to jcharles@lionsgatecomms.com. A suitable venue and timing will be notified to attending shareholders by email following confirmation of numbers attending.
