Treatt PLC (the 'Group'), the manufacturer and supplier of conventional, organic and fair traded ingredient solutions for the flavour, fragrance and consumer goods industries today announces that Anita Haines, who retires as the Group's HR Director in February 2014, will remain on the Board after the Annual General Meeting as a Non-executive Director. Although Anita will not be regarded as independent for at least five years given her current employment with the Company, the Board notes that, in addition to the Chairman, there are three existing independent Non-executive Directors.

Tim Jones, Chairman of Treatt, commenting, said "Anita Haines joined the firm in January 1988 as its Company Secretary before becoming HR Director in October 2002. I am delighted that the insight and experience, the 'cultural glue' that she has so skilfully applied as our business has become the global group that it is today, will continue to be available to the Board."
