Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ('PDMRs')

Hays plc ("the Company")

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a), the Company hereby notifies you that, on 22 May 2013, Alan Thomson, Chairman and PDMR, purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company at 95p per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Thomson's interest (including those of his spouse) in the Ordinary share capital of the Company is 175,000 shares.
