In accordance with Rule 2.10 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, the Company announces that as at the date of this announcement it has in issue and admitted to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange 238,734,129 ordinary shares of 9717/19 pence each, with each ordinary share carrying the right to one vote. The International Securities Identification Number for the ordinary shares is GB00B1FH8J72.

The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
